Systematic’s webinar on digital twins

Systematic’s webinar on digital twins was a success, exceeding expectations in terms of participation. Our CEO, who attended the virtual round table, reported excellent feedback from the audience. This demonstrates that digital health is more than a trend associated to the present situation but most importantly, it represents the future of medicine.

New functionalities added to our online apps 3DOrthoCheck and 3DOrthoMed

Our teams have been busy listening to users feedback and improving our products.
Our patients app 3DOrthoCheck has been enhanced to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Moreover, therapeutic recommendations have been added to our doctor’s app 3DOrthoMed, along with 2 new pathologies of the hindfoot.

16 June – Synopsys Simpleware and Digital Orthopaedics: digital twins generation webinar

Join Digital Orthopaedics and Synopsys Simpleware in this webinar to see how Digital Orthopaedics create digital twins of pathological feet with Simpleware software and use biomechanical simulation to determine best surgical treatment options for the patient.

Our S&V manager Andrea Stenti and R&D manager Enrique Morales will present the following:

• The fundamentals of medical image processing for patient-specific model generation.

• How Digital Orthopaedics implement the Simpleware software to create and validate foot Digital Twins.

• How Digital orthopaedics will use patient-specific simulation to improve patient outcomes and reduce the requirement for revision.

18-19 June – Virtual conference Simbio-M

There will be 2 sessions per day and the conference will be accessible to everyone for free.

This conference is organized every other year, aiming at introducing new technologies, advances and tools in the fields of Biomechanics and Biomedical engineering.

Digital Orthopaedics will be represented by our CEO Edouard Lété, our R&D manager Enrique Morales and our Business developer Christos Mansinakis.
